The Canongate Coorie

Positive: The flat was very clean comfortable very cosy and was done to a high standard. Good communication from hosts. Negative: The stairs up to the apartment were too steep for us and there were more than we initially realised. As there are other apartments sharing the space who did not keep the stairwell to the same standard and it was unpleasant and smelly, which was a real shame. In the end we had to cut our stay short.

Excellent Positive: Good quality, stylish, comfortable and clean accomodation. It's opposite a small Morrisons so handy for shopping and central, but not noisy at all. We'll definitely book this again if we're in the area. Simply Scottish is also the best place for breakfast or lunch! It's 3rd floor attic space, so a bit of a climb. I was a little worried about it being too hot, but the windows and skylight give a good through-draught. With 2 heaters, a fire and multiple throws it looks like it'll be cosy in winter too. Negative: Difficult to find. Google maps has this building in Market Place but the directions gave Canongate. Note to English and other foreigners - a 'close' is an alleyway in Scotland (they used to be gated and closed at night)

Loved the apartment and the Scottish Borders area but wouldn’t stay in Jedburgh again. Positive: Good food at The Capon Tree and The Forresters. Negative: Jedburgh had limited options for places to eat out or go for a drink with some having limited opening days/times.

Exceptional Accommodation (Jedburgh) Positive: Upon arrival, full instructions were provided by e-mail, making entering the property very easy. It's a very comfortable apartment in the heart of town. The local shops were only a stroll away. The accommodation was exceptional, with a small arrival box with some goodies in the kitchen. These extra touches make it extra special! The host was available to answer any questions in relation to the apartment. I would highly recommend this place to stay for others whether it's for one night stay or you wish to stay longer. The borders have many exceptional historical places to visit, and this town is in central position between Newcastle and Edinburgh.....so you can explore the wonderful countryside too.

verborgen pareltje in de stad Positive: Het was een mooi, net appartement en alles was aanwezig. Er was gelukkig ook een ventilator aanwezig wat erg gewaardeerd werd met de hitte. Negative: De onderburen lopen als olifanten en de toegang tot het appartement voorspelde (gelukkig) niet hoe het appartement eruit zag. we miste een klein balkon, maar dat is niet erg.
